Description

PJM Response is proposing a *Neighbourhood Watch Dedicated Response Scheme* for our suburb, similar to a system already running successfully in another area.

*🚓 DEDICATED RESPONSE SERVICE*
* A PJM Response *security / medical / fire vehicle stationed in the suburb*
* *Operating hours:* 18:00 – 06:00, *7 days a week*
* Responds *exclusively to homes with PJM VHF panic link installed*
* *Ambulance & Fire Tender* dispatched from PJM Harare Head Office when required

*💰 MONTHLY COST (MINIMUM 50 HOUSES)*
* Total monthly bill: *US$3,301 (incl. VAT)*
* Paid *in advance* each month
* One *neighbourhood representative* settles the account
* Payment by *cash or bank transfer*

*🏠 COST PER HOUSE*
* US$3,301 ÷ 50 houses = *US$66.20 per house per month*
* If more houses join, cost is adjusted fairly
Example:
* 60 houses = *US$3,972/month total*

*🔔 ONCE-OFF PANIC PACK (PER HOUSE)*
* *VHF Panic Pack System* with radio link
* Siren included
* *3 remotes per house:*
– 1 x Fixed panic button
– 2 x Necklace remotes
* Safer setup – a fixed panic can *never be lost*
* *Once-off cost:* *US$382 (incl. VAT)*
(Only applicable if not already installed)

*📡 NETWORK & INFRASTRUCTURE (NO COST TO RESIDENTS)*
* PJM Response to install a *VHF repeater* at a high point in the suburb
* Request (if possible):
– Small site for a *security camp*
– Access to *water* so staff can remain in the suburb when off duty

This scheme provides *improved response times, constant presence, and peace of mind* for residents.
