PJM FIRE RESCUE SERVICES

The Difference Between Calling for Help and Having Help Already on the Way

Posted on June 2, 2026June 2, 2026 by tuser

In an emergency, response capability matters more than marketing claims.

At PJM Response, we have built our service around one simple principle: when our clients need help, we respond with our own resources.

Unlike many providers who advertise security, medical, and fire response services but rely heavily on third-party assistance, PJM Response operates an integrated in-house emergency response system dedicated exclusively to our clients.

Our capabilities include:

• Dedicated armed response vehicles
• Ambulances
• Fire tenders
• Multi-vehicle response teams
• Trained response personnel
• 24-hour emergency coordination

When a client activates an alarm, panic button, or emergency call, our teams are mobilised immediately. We do not operate a public service. Our resources are dedicated to the customers who have entrusted us with their protection.

To be clear, we work closely with other emergency service providers where required. We routinely call upon the City of Harare Fire Brigade for additional support during significant fire incidents, and we maintain relationships with other ambulance providers when additional medical resources are needed. However, the critical difference is that we arrive with our own response capability from the outset.

Consider a fire emergency. Arriving with only a handheld fire extinguisher can be useful in the first moments of an incident. A standard 9kg dry powder extinguisher will typically discharge in approximately 15 to 20 seconds. After that, additional firefighting resources are required. This is why dedicated fire response capability matters.

Emergency response is not simply about answering a phone call. It is about having the vehicles, equipment, personnel, and systems already in place to act immediately.

The question is simple: when an emergency occurs, is your provider responding with its own resources, or are they still calling someone else?

Apples are apples. Lemons are lemons.

And PJM Response is PJM Response.

For clients who value dedicated emergency response capability and rapid intervention, the difference is clear.
