Registering Your Family
Membership can be registered for up to four people.
At the time of registration, we will require the following information for each nominated member:
- Full name
- ID number
- Email address
- Cellphone number
The nominated members will then be loaded onto the PJM Rescue membership platform, assigned a unique PJM Rescue membership/registration number and provided with relevant service information.
What PJM Rescue Can Assist With
Within the capabilities of the rescue operation and depending on the circumstances, PJM Rescue is available to respond to genuine emergencies on Lake Kariba, including:
- Medical emergencies
- Fire emergencies
- Mechanical emergencies
- Vessel assistance and recovery
- Search and rescue assistance
- Coordination with other appropriate service providers where required
Where a situation requires specialist assistance beyond the capabilities of PJM Rescue, we can coordinate with other service providers, including ACE, HAC and other appropriate mechanical, recovery or emergency resources, to assist wherever possible.
Priority for Members
PJM Rescue members always receive priority over non-members when responding to callouts.
Non-member assistance is also available where possible; however, non-member emergency callouts are charged separately and can be considerably more costly.
For regular visitors to Lake Kariba, membership therefore provides both financial value and peace of mind.
