Sunstroke is serious and debilitating, and once symptoms appear, medical treatment is required. PJM Rescue was called out and attended with a doctor to provide on-site treatment to the affected guest, who was on a commercial charter houseboat on Lake Kariba.
Kariba is a remote area with limited access and medical facilities, which makes rapid response crucial in any emergency. The PJM Rescue boat remains on standby 24/7 to assist with all types of emergencies on the lake.
To help avoid high commercial costs associated with attending to non-life-threatening emergencies, we strongly recommend commercial houseboat membership, offering full cover from only USD $600 per annum.
